Branches Throughout the Country
We opened new branches in the Sheba and Assaf Harofeh Medical Centers. Hospital based branches help us help patients be released for recovery at home, easing the burden on family members.

Community Services:
4,340 CAREGIVER FAMILY MEMBERS received assistance from the Caregiver’s Center through support groups and therapy sessions.
18 ADDITIONAL GUEST ROOMS were built for the benefit of 1,900 FAMILY MEMBERS at Beit Yad Sarah in Jerusalem and in Raanana for family members caring for a hospitalized loved one at nearby medical centers.
2,700 ELDERLY PEOPLE RECEIVED LEGAL ADVICE from volunteer lawyers at Yad Sarah branches. We expanded the continuing power of attorney service including lectures and information.

The New Health & Wellness
Center in Jerusalem
Not long ago, we completed the construction of the first Health & Wellness Center in Israel, which makes available the services of a 5-star hotel and an advanced multidisciplinary rehabilitation approach to health care. This innovative approach offers everyone the ability to recover in the best possible way, to be released from the hospital sooner, and to return more quickly to their family and to their community.

The Launch of the Board of
Trustees at the President's House
At a ceremonial event at the invitation of the President of Israel, the International Board of Trustees of Yad Sarah was established at the President's House in Jerusalem. The new board is headed by Mr. Aharon G. Frankel. The members of the board of trustees, who are among the leaders of Israeli society, meet twice a year to determine the organization's policies and to assist its expansion into other areas.

Yad Sarah volunteers gathered at the Menorah Mivtahim Arena in Tel Aviv to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the circle of giving and kindness. Congratulating the volunteers were the President of Israel Mr. Isaac Herzog, Rabbi Uri Lupolianski, and Mr. Aharon G. Frankel. Popular TV personality and longtime supporter of Yad Sarah, Dvir Bendak, served as MC. Guest performers included: the Israel Philharmonic, Avraham Fried, Amir Dadon, and the Pirchei Miami Choir.
